Bottomless Bridges

Recommended Props: Mini Ball

NOTE: Not recommended for those pregnant in their late 2nd or 3rd trimesters. All exercises are done lying on the back. Laying on the back for a long period of time can constrict blood and oxygen flow to the baby due to the weight of the belly pushing down on the inferior vena cava (vein). If you do decide to try this workout and start to feel symptoms of dizziness, nausea, sweating, increased heart rate, or reduction in blood pressure simply roll to your side and take a break from lying on your back. A few minutes (3-5) on your back should be okay, but always let comfort be your guide.
